Our Surf Cowgirls Retreat is a 6-day immersion into surfing, horses, connection and confidence — created for women who want adventure, sisterhood and soul-level rest. We gather in Sayulita, Mexico, a colourful beach town at the edge of the jungle. Mornings are spent riding waves, afternoons on horseback along hidden trails, and evenings under the stars sharing stories, tacos, and laughter.

This is a retreat for women who feel the call of the ocean, the wild, and their own inner power. We've hosted a handful of retreats now in 2025 and 2026 and these are our upcoming dates for 2026 and 2027.

Retreat in Morocco

To kick off the new year we thought it would be fun to take Surf Cowgirls International and host our first ever retreat in Morocco with the team at Nomaya Surf House. They are an incredible female owned business in Tamraght with the most beautiful accommodations. We're so excited to bring everything you already love about our Surf Cowgirls retreat here in Mexico and add even more horse time with the horses here in Morocco. We'll have 4 rides (instead of our normal 2) which will also include a full day horse adventure to culminate the week. Think all day adventuring through the dunes of Morocco.

Our Surf Cowgirls Retreat is designed for women who are wanting to spend some time coming back into their own. It’s also for women who want to experience something different — something playful, soulful, and rooted in nature. Here, you’ll find a community of like-minded women, saltwater mornings in the ocean, grounding moments on horseback, and evenings filled with connection and laughter. This is a retreat that invites you to come home to yourself in the most beautiful way: through movement, sisterhood, and the magic of Sayulita.

Our retreats are held at the beautiful Casa Cinética here in Sayulita, Mexico. Casa Cinética is located about a 10 min drive from Sayulita near two beautiful beaches called Patzcuaro and Patzcuarito.

Our Morocco Retreat is being held in Tamraght at the Nomaya Surf House.

No, you don't have to have any previous surf experience. If you do, that's great too! We're creating an environment where you feel safe in the ocean and learning to surf. We've partnered up with local legends Juicyyy Surf Sayulita alongside our founders Kenzie + Tarah.

No, you don't have to have any previous experience with horses. If you do that's great too. We will be pairing people up with horses that we think will fit their vibe and be a good match.

We will ask if you have any experience and what that experience has been just so that we can properly match you to a horse that is a good fit.

Sayulita Pricing
Private Room Price - $3500 USD
Shared Room Price - $2800 USD

There is a $1000 USD non-refundable deposit that is required to confirm your spot. The remaining balance is due 30 days before the start of the retreat.

If for any reason you cannot attend the retreat you forfeit your $1000 USD non-refundable deposit.

Private or Shared Room (depending on your choice) for the 5 nights, 6 days staying in Casa Cinética.

All meals are catered by our Private Chef Emma from Spicy Soul Kitchen. Every meal is included except one dinner where we'll head into town together.

2 Surf Lessons + Surfboard Rentals.

2 Horseback Rides.

Human Design Workshop with Tarah.

Transportation throughout the week on Rangers.

Airport transfer, we'll make sure you get to Casa Cinética and back to the airport easily and hassle free.

The only things not included in the price of the retreat are:

Airfare to Sayulita and back
Travel Insurance (we highly recommend you have some type of insurance)
Spending money (shopping, gifts, one dinner out, etc...)

Please fly into Puerto Vallarta airport and let us know as soon as possible your arrival time so we can coordinate your airport transfer. It's ideal to land on the first day between 12-4PM and ideal to leave on the last day between 12-4PM.
